Sympathy cards are difficult to create in that they are so personal. You want just the right card and I have to admit, up until now I usually went to the Hallmark store to purchase one. I decided to join a "sympathy card" swap in hopes of getting ideas from other TAC Angels. I don't have any stamps specifically for sympathy cards however with the help of my computer, I think I did okay with this design.
Recipe:
stamp: T2929-Butterfly Swirls (p. 53 of the current TAC catalogue)
cardstock: TAC
Versamark Ink
silver embossing powder
"with sympathy" font: Edwardian Script

OMGosh!! I thought I was the only one that did that! (I would catch crap about that one too, a cardmaker BUYING cards.) But I really like the TAC With Sympathy set. It gives enough variance with sayings that I can make the perfect card every time.
When I got this card for the swap. I loved it. thanks for sending it to me and can't wait to send the rest to you.
Lori, this is such an elegant card. I love the classic simplicity, yet it still has pizzazz!
Thats perfect, Simple and pretty - I love it. i am trying to get more simple.
