Happy Harvest

I finally got "brave" enough to use my best papers in making this card. I used paper from the Hemingway collection (V-836) found on page 26 of the Fall/Winter TAC Catalogue.
My fear has always been that I'd mess up somehow and waste the precious paper and consequently, I have a lot of unopened papers!!
In creating this card and a couple others, my fears came to fruition.
I made a couple mistakes that I couldn't creatively hide, and I now have some very odd shaped scraps of Hemingway paper tucked carefully in the bag holding the full sheets that I haven't yet used.
Anyway, I'm glad the mistakes happened because nothing devastating happened and now I'm slowly but surely using my best papers in making cards.
The stamp comes from Everyday Events (T2751) page 75 in the catalogue.

Very cute. I, too, have that "can't USE my patterned paper, must hoard it for a good idea" and then they just sit there. Congrats on taking the plunge from purchaser to user (lol).
